Jury duty?
How fun! Not what most people think of when they think of jury duty... I'm talking about jurying art shows. I think it sounds like a fabulous day job, no? From what I understand, a bunch of aspiring artists send in their photos of their handmade creations and a 'jury' sits around and judges them, deciding if they should be in or out. Sort of like project runway, but without all the drama and tears. Well, maybe.
Anyhoo, I recently submitted for my first two juried art/craft shows and the jury was in my favor! At least for the first of the two shows. I haven't heard back on the second one yet, so more to come on that. But I was so excited to hear that I will be a part of the Millstream Arts Festival in good 'ole St. Joseph, MN on September 27th.
